MTCS Public Meeting - July 9th - 5:30p

        Hi Everyone!

Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 5:30 PM will be the second of three public workshops for CARTA’s Mulitmodal Tranportation Center Study.
Earlier this year CARTA launched this study to analyze existing bus routes and other opportunities to improve the region’s public transportation. The first public workshop on April 30 gave people a chance to provide feedback on how the current system works and how it could be made more effective, including the potential to create one or more multimodal centers around the city.
Your input is needed now as the study moves toward recommendations for overall system improvements and possible locations for a transportation center or centers. Please join us!

The purpose of this meeting is also to inform the community of the proposed route changes and new service to Enterprise South.

Where: Imperial Ballroom, Chattanooga Choo Choo (on the left as you enter complex)

When: Thursday, July 9, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Light refreshments will be provided and complimentary parking available at Shuttle Park South.

For more information visit MTCStudy.org or call 423.643.6887.

Thanks so much!

Art Car Parade on Main! May 9th

Art Cars return May 9th, and Art 120 is thrilled to bring the art car parade to Main Street for the fourth straight year!

It takes a lot of creative fuel to run this weekend and we need your support to successfully grow this event on the Southside for years to come. Heres what is happening. I hope you can come out, cheer on the artists, and have some fun.

Art Car Parade to Main Street Begins at the Majestic 12 Parking Lot at 1pm. We should be turning onto Main Street shortly after 1pm. Find a good local hang along Main Street to watch the parade roll by. Follow us to Jefferson Heights Park for a lineup and award ceremony for the best school entries!

The Art Car Fire Ball in the Craftworks Lot 220 W. Main Street. Gate Opens at 8pm with Special guest Chattanooga Fire Cabaret. Wear your best fire inspired attire and see how these artists light the night. 18 & up.

Volunteers are always welcome, call Jonathan Ramirez, to get involved: 423/314-3431See you on the Southside!
