We would like to invite all neighbors to discuss and learn more about the redevelopment of Grant's Auto Glass. The Planning Commission is holding a meeting regarding the project on 4/13 and we thought it would be a great idea to meet before and discuss.

Hi Everyone! 

Reminder!  Tree Planting & Clean Up Day Tomorrow!  Due to a parade down Market St, we'll be starting @ 8:30AM.

When:  Saturday February 28, 2015

Where: 1435 Market St (next to Hot Chocolatier)

Time:   8:30AM

What to bring: Work Gloves (trash bags will be provided for clean up)

We still need volunteers from SouthSide!!  We'll be working with Gene Hyde and local Volkswagen Plant volunteers to plant 11 Zelkova trees and clean up our hood!  The Zelkova trees are quite large so we need all the help we can get!!!  This is part of a state wide tree planting initiative set up by the Tennessee Environmental Council to plant 50,000 trees in TN!!  So, grab your gloves & your neighbors and lets make SouthSide even greener!!

Our next SCPNA Meeting is on July 17th at 6p @ Water Tower Park.  We'll be firing up the grill for this meeting.  PleaseRSVP by Tuesday, July 15th so we can get a head count for food. Can't wait to see you all there!

Don't forget to bring a chair or blanket to the park! (seating is limited under the Chess Pavilion).  If anyone has a tailgating tent we could set up for added shade please let us know!!

We plan to pass out door hangers for this meeting as well on Sunday and Monday (13th & 14th).  There are 150+ residences in SouthSide and we need all the help we can get!  Email us at sscowart@gmail.com to help out!  

Also, you can now pay your association dues ($25) via Paypal!  Simply logon to Paypal.com and send your transaction to the email address, BruceSimonson@icloud.com.  Make note of your name along with payment.
